Rockin' the Yard is a 501c3 that was founded in 2021 by Altoona native, Brian McConnell, as a means to entertain the area with cost-effective professional quality events for the community while benefiting charities in the area

Our team comprises experienced event planners and dedicated staff members who share a love for live music. All RTY staff are volunteers who receive no monetary contributions for their time and effort. This, along with other money saving factors, ensure charities receive the highest possible donation.

Shriners Hospitals for Children in Philadelphia, PA provides specialized care to children with orthopaedic conditions, burns, spinal cord injuries,and cleft lip and palate, regardless of the families’ ability to pay. Generally, care is provided until age 18, although, in some cases, it may be extended to age 21. All care and services are provided in a family-centered environment.
